Celebrating our nautical roots & lifestyle by partnering with the iconic JClass yachts

An invitation to “Sail Away”, by enjoying simple and natural luxuries

We are glad to announce that we have just become the principal partner of the J Class Association, gathering an exclusive, growing fleet of privately-owned yachts. Originally designed to compete for the America's Cup in the 1930s, the J Class yachts are considered some of the most beautiful boats ever built. Today, eight J Class yachts are sailing in the world’s most gorgeous waters and many still grace the start lines at prestigious regattas.

The majestic J Class yachts reflect our story and echo our genuine way of living. They generate global following and fascination; while differentiating by a lifestyle of elegant sailing and timelessness embodied by the legendary yachts and their crew of passionate gentlemen. This new alliance is an invitation to “Sail Away” - to take a well-deserved break by enjoying simple and natural luxuries.

We are delighted to become principal partner of the J Class Association. Cloudy Bay lifestyle - driven by its New Zealand origins and mindset - is all about experiencing good life with elegance. The brand has always been inspired by the nautical universe, quite evidently because of its location in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and the maritime influence that stems from it. This alliance with J Class therefore seemed evident, almost natural.” says Jean-Guillaume Prats, President of Estates & Wines, the Moët Hennessy wine division.

The partnership officially commenced on March 16th at the St Barths Bucket, a four-day regatta during which 6 J Class yachts participated. This summer, for the first time in more than 80 years, the iconic J Class yachts have been invited to compete in Bermuda at the America’s Cup J Class Regatta as well as in Newport during the inaugural J Class World Championships, with Cloudy Bay as the fleet’s principal partner.”

"We are delighted to welcome Cloudy Bay as our principal partner," said Louise Morton, Class Secretary, JCA. "It is a natural pairing and we are looking forward to working with this iconic wine brand to deliver great regattas and events for the J Class family during 2017 and beyond. We already had a great presence at St Barths and I'm confident our partnership will only get better as the fleet moves to Bermuda for the America’s Cup J Class Regatta and then our inaugural J Class World Championships in Newport.”
